3rd April: Joe’s Christening lunch party. Message received by email:
“we wanted to thank you for arranging such a stressfree and enjoyable party for Joel’s christening. We had a lovely day and many of our guests commented on the club as a wonderful venue (in fact at least one said they were interested in booking it for a future event). We also had very enthusiastic feedback on the delicious food provided by the deli. Finally the service was notable in being friendly, efficient and helpful while being unobtrusive. Both William and Angela who waitressed were great.
So all in all, we were delighted with the way the party went and pleased to have chosen the club as the venue. Many thanks again.
Best wishes
Anna Fleming”
—————————————————————————————12th February. AK Pop-Up Breakfast, following the Dewar’s Shield Challenge race:
via email:
“Situated along the quaint stretch of riverside that is Lower Mall (Hammersmith), Auriol Kensington boasts some of the most impressive riverside views in London. Its function rooms were the setting for a recent pop-up breakfast that was simply exceptional.
For breakfast the fare ranged from a ‘classic english’ cooked breakfast to a variety of rolls with egg, bacon or sausages. Simple but exquisite, and with great tasting coffee to wash it down. The quality of ingredients used was evident, and yet the price was extremely reasonable.
On top of this the standard of service was a bonus -Ramsay the House Steward led a friendly and efficient team that helped create the convivial atmosphere that saw many linger over a second and third cup of coffee.
I will definitely be back for the next pop up event Auriol Kensington hosts
Duncan Brown”

What a fantastic venue! I organised my wedding reception here and was blown away with the result!
The venue is, of course, a functioning (and highly regarded) rowing club during daylight hours, but it has a fully stocked bar and two floors of entertainment space available for hire at a reasonable price. They arranged a late license, great food from a local caterer and coat check for us and we had a band and DJ in addition to speeches and fireworks!
One of the great things about this venue is its location with views of Hammersmith Bridge to the left and up river towards Chiswick to the right as you stand on the spacious balcony. We were lucky enough to be treated to a spectacular October sunset just as the party really got going!
Ramsay, who runs the venue in the evenings is a fantastic chap who really wants to make the event a success and I would highly recommend the place to anyone wanting to throw a party in West London!
