Welcome to our list of drinks. We offer an extensive wine list with wines suitable for serving as your reception drink and many more wines more suitable for serving with your food. The list has been compiled by an experienced sommelier. We offer a list of cocktails to create an extra splash at the start of your party. Cocktails must be ordered in advance and in reasonable quantities. We are an active rowing club with an excellent relationship with our local Brewery. Thanks to Fullers, we offer 3 draught beers, 1 draught cider and 9 different types of bottled beers. A large range of spirits completes the offering. To special order, we can also offer live ale.
All of our wines are specially selected by wine professional, Rebecca Jones AIWS, to match our in-house chef’s food menu, and are sourced from wine merchant, Boutinot, voted Wine Merchant of the Year for the last four years and supplier to top London restaurants.
A few words from our somelier:
For whites choose from Italian Prosecco or Champagne as an aperitif. The more classically inclined will sniff out the Champagne Charles Chevalier Brut, made from only the best grapes of the Grand Cru vineyard in Ay and ideal for special celebrations. Fans of white wines are well catered for: our range covers classics like Chablis from France and Sauvignon Banc from South Africa through to sexy Spanish Albarino and top-notch Chardonnay from Australia’s renowned winemaker, Keith Tulloch.
For the reds, why not try a classic New Zealand Pinot Noir? If it’s pepper and spice you’re after, try our Spanish Monastrell Shiraz, Argentinian Malbec or cheeky Aussie Cabernet Shiraz. Lots of sultry dark fruit can be found in our Chilean Merlot- made by Chile’s top winemaker, Felipe Muller. Traditionalists will love our Tain Crozes-Hermitage, made from one of the top vineyard sites in the Rhone valley.
Nothing here should disappoint, whether you’re a wine enthusiast or wine connoisseur. Enjoy soaking them all up with the views.
